GROWING EXPERIENCE

2014-2018 – MARKET GARDEN, COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE, DIPLOMA IN ORGANIC FARMING

Between 2015-2018, I had been developing my skills and competencies as a grower at EKOPOLETKO – my own micro-farm laboratory project, selling seasonal biodiverse vegetables at a small commercial scale with elements of education and local cooperation.

Grown vegetables, as well as herbs, preserves and salad mixes, were delivered directly from field to table of recipients in Krakow: Wawelska Food Cooperative, guests of Karma Cafe restaurant and the Krakow’s organic farmers market. During the running of Ekopoletko, I completed the 2-year diploma in organic farming based on over 30 unique organic farm study visits, four 3-week long residential theory modules (Soil, Plants, Animals, Human) and periodical farm apprenticeships with senior farmers, showing me the full spectrum of biodiverse agro-ecological farming.

Starting in 2018, I joined the team of the Cohabitat Foundation for the Summer Season of residential sustainability farm-lab workshops, where I managed the biodiversity and kitchen gardens and I run food-growing lessons in with over 300 people.
